Kim Trahan

Trained as a professional counselor, Kim’s background in coaching started with her focus on assessments when providing career counseling to university students and serving as an outplacement consultant with further emphasis on career and leadership coaching in private practice. Her qualifications and leadership development coaching experience includes certifications in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), EQ–i 2.0, EQ 360, Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ), the CQ (Cultural Intelligence) Pro Assessment, the CQ 360 as well as extensive use of the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire. Kim has administered assessments to 1000s of undergraduate students and clients in private practice as well as supported the implementation and evaluation of leadership development plans. Her focus is partnering with coaching clients, assessing their strengths and opportunities for further development, helping clients take action towards their goals, and providing structure and support to assist their growth. She has taught several related undergraduate leadership development courses, such as OLEAD 220: Emotional, Social, and Cultural Intelligences and Leadership, LHR/OLEAD 409: Leadership Development as well as Transformational Leadership. Kim is in the process of completing her International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification to obtain the Associate Certified Coach credential from the College of Executive Coaching.
