Arthur Matthews

Arthur T. Matthews is a pracademic with extensive coaching experience in the private, government, unions and 501 c3 sectors. One of his signature coaching assignments was in Arkansas where he was appointed the Director for the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) labor-management project between Levi-Strauss and the union UNITE! 

His overall coaching body of work incudes providing guidance to leaders at organizations such as J.P Morgan Chase, Colgate Palmolive and coaching to leaders at unions such as UNITE! and the Communication Workers Union of America(CWA). 

His foundation for coaching began as a teenager whereas a Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) counselor he was deputized by his Director to begin developing resume writing and interview techniques workshops for his peers.  

He is currently a Teaching Professor at Penn State School of Industrial and Labor Relations. Previously he served on the faculty at institutions such as NYU, Cornell ILR, Medgar Evers College, and the National Labor College.
